Entries for the Penguin Design Award of 2019. The two books re-designed were Wonder by R. J. Palacio and Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami. The process started with an imagery-focused re-reading of the two works, then translated to visual research and ultimately to the design of the cover and back cover starting from concepts that were meant to be appealing to first-time readers as well as relevant to readers who are already fans.
