They say our body is a cage of skin and bones, sometimes trying to hide the world we hide within us, sometimes desperately trying to keep it inside.  Being given a glimpse of this inner world is a privilege. Sometimes it happens while we’re talking, it happens with a single look. And there it is. A whole new world to explore. A whole new person to understand.
I took portraits of close friends and family, of people I knew. I focused on what they gave me, and turned feelings in landscapes. Having a talk with them is having a walk in there.
